- Member Margin

Member margin which paid by a member to the exchange is calculated for the open interests of the self account of the member and each account of each customer of the concerned member after market closing.
With the introduction of Night-Session, member margin will be calculated twice each trading day(After clsoings of 1) regular and 2) night sessions respectively) and the deadline for margin deposit is shortened by an hour(12:00 -> 11:00 on T+1 day).
If the recalculated margin(for night session) required for deposit is significantly higher (by “120% or more” or “50 billion KRW or more”) than that at the end of the previous day’s regular session, the account holder must deposit the recalculated amount until the deposit deadline (11 am).
Substitute securities are also accepted for the whole amount of the member margin.
