Listing criteria is divided into quantitative and qualitative criteria. Quantitative criteria can be classified into corporate size, financial conditions, stability, etc., while qualitative criteria is classified into sustainability and transparency of corporate management, and the matters related to corporate disclosure and protection of interests of shareholders.
The KOSPI market and KOSDAQ market are designed to be suitable for medium and large sized blue chip companies and medium and small sized venture companies respectively, and the corporations can apply for listing by choosing the market appropriate for them in accordance with their financial status and business characteristics.
Corporate size requirements for the KOSPI market are composed of equity capital, total number of stocks to be listed and sales amount, which specify the minimum size that the listed corporations shall keep.

The sales amount of a holding company shall be calculated by adding up the amounts earned by multiplying the sales amounts of a subsidiary for each fiscal year by the percentage of a stake in the subsidiary at the time of applying for listing eligibility review
